A little extra
Herning is home to lakes dating back to the Ice Age. Our ancestors have created lakes and ponds while excavating peat and lignite. Other great swimming lakes near Herning are Arnborg Lake, Holtbjerg Lake, Sunds Lake, Børnesøen in Kibæk and many more.
